Why do I see UK's logo on publisher's websites even if UK does not have access to that particular volume or issue?
While using some of our electronic resources, you may have noticed the UK logo on the pages of various publishers and vendors. This logo is known as a brand. When we brand a site, the brand goes across everything in that administratively-controlled product and in general, we have
only two options: brand or not brand. So, for instance, we might subscribe to a number of journals on the Taylor and Francis platform. Therefore, we would brand that platform. However, this brand would show up on all journals on the Taylor and Francis website, regardless of whether or not we subscribed to them. The appearance of this logo does not mean that we have access to a particular volume, issue, year or article. The best source of information regarding e-resource holdings is our databases and electronic resources page and e-journals list.
