The purpose of the Database of Latin Dictionaries is to produce for scholars and students an online database comprising a large number of Latin dictionaries. The database comprises three kinds of dictionaries: dictionaries to assist translation from Latin into modern languages, dictionaries providing semantic and etymological explanations in Latin of Latin words and historical Latin dictionaries.

If you are searching for a document available through the ProQuest Dissertations and Theses Global Database, please be aware that in order to access content you must perform your search directly in the PQ D&T interface. While the title records are searchable in InfoKat Discovery (IKD), the documents are not accessible from the IKD "View It" menu at this time. Again, you must navigate to the database itself and perform your search. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working with Ex Libris to make these accessible through our discovery system. In the meantime, here is the direct link to the Dissertations & Theses database. We suggest creating a bookmark of this homepage if this is a resource you frequent. Scopus is an abstracting and citation database of peer-reviewed literature with tools to track and analyze and research. It contains over 22,000 titles from more than 5,000 publishers around the world, covering the fields of science, technology, medicine, social sciences, and arts & humanities. Scopus has 55 million records dating back to 1823, 84% of which contain references dating from 1996. Scopus is a citation index. This makes it easy to move forward and backward chronologically in the research trail because you can easily see the papers cited by an article as well as the articles that go on to cite the article later. Citation indexes also help in determining the impact of articles and journals by highlighting which titles are most cited within a field. Use the cited reference search to track prior research and monitor current developments in over 100 years worth of content, including 59 million records that includes backfiles dating back to 1898. UK Libraries also subscribes to Web of Science, another multidisciplinary citation index. If you currently use Web of Science, please also check out Scopus. Although SCOPUS and Web of Science are similar products, there are unique materials present in each. More information. . . Taylor & Francis Online will be upgrading the TLS (Transport Layer Security) settings on their platform starting with some parts of the site from January 31st. TLS ensures that connections made across the internet are secure and data can only be read by authorized users.
This means that if you use an older browser, specifically IE10 or older, you will receive an error message when trying to access the platform. If you are using an older browser we would encourage you to upgrade it at this point in order to continue to access Taylor & Francis Online.
